Wheelsday 2020 Registration is now Open!

The site is open until 1st March to apply. Please be careful to fill out the forms correctly especially when asked for your address and postcode. Last year we had a considerable number of passes get undelivered due to people not filling in their details correctly.
Traders, please contact our trade team through the website this year. It will auto-generate a form which we can use to contact you with to make this years event run smoother for you. Please make contact asap as we only have a limited number of spaces and they go very fast.
The “Car Club” format is staying the same as last year with spaces limited to 15 spaces max. per club, but the registration process has changed slightly. For the first time we are taking Club stand requests via the website to try to ease the process some what. As with last year we have decided to limit the club stands to a maximun of 20 club displays with an emphasis on “best of display”. There will be a “Best Car Club Display” trophy awarded to the best display of vehicles on the stand. Each club will be judged not just on the quality, type, rarity and condition of the vehicles on display but equally important is how the club displays to the public. Club banners and gazebos will be allowed as long as they are not excessive and do not obstruct the view across the show field and are securely anchored (this is your responsibility!) The pitch area will be decided on numbers and types of vehicle to displayed.
You will be contacted at the beginning of Feb for confirmation on your club pitch. We do not run a first come first served system so please wait patiently for a response to your application. Each year we have to turn down many more clubs than we can handle but please bare with us. If your members are planning to attend with your club PLEASE ask them not to apply as a solo vehicle until the club stand has been confirmed or not. By them applying as single entries as well as in the club it can cause headaches with the single entry system and mean people who want a single ticket to miss out.
Payment will be required by 1st March for your club stand from the club chairman/representative applying and singerly entered show cars will not be allowed to park on a club stand irrespective of space or area and will be sent to single show car parking.
As always, thank you all for your continued support and here’s to a great 2020 show!

Christmas is here (well all be it 1 day away for the main day) and it's time again for the Eagle Wish.
Each year the Eagle ask people to nominate friends and family who they feel deserve something special after a hard or troublesome year. This year is no different. We've helped for a number of years so when Eagle asked for help again we couldn't stand by. Our very own Mr Smith senior jumped on the line to offer our help for yet another worthwhile cause. I hope you all agree!
Keep your eyes peeled for more charity work in the new year and on the lead up to Wheelsday 2020. Registration is open at www.wheelsday.net so get on while you're in your turkey coma over the holiday season and register your car and help us to continue to help others.
Merry Christmas one and all!

Well ladies and gents of the Surrey Street Rodders,
Christmas is upon us once again and the SSR have been busy behind the scenes again hoping to raise a little joy and happiness to less fortunate this holiday season.
At the beginning of the month we donated some gifts to the children's ward at Frimley Park Hospital for sick children stuck in hospital over the Christmas period. Then Friday we were out delivering 10 FireHD tablets to Eagle Radio for their toy appeal for disadvantaged teenage children in the community care system who would otherwise not have got a gift, before heading off with 50 gift boxes for outpatients staying in the Royal Surrey County Hospital and local community hospitals over Christmas and New Years.
While there I met Sandy who helps run the RSCH Charity and whom we invited to attend Wheelday 2019 for the first time. While at the show they raised a superb £500 towards the charities premature baby fundraiser, so while at the hospital I was proud to donate a cheque on behalf of the SSR for a further £750 to bring their fundraising total from WD to a grand sum of £1250.
None of this would be possible without your support in attending our show every Easter. For that we wish to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We never take a penny for organising or running the show donating all our time for free so every penny we raise goes to great local and national good causes. By attending and being part of our family friendly show you make a huge difference to so many people so thank you once again. Remember, WD 2020 is open for registration now at www.wheelsday.net so get on and register your vehicles now.
May I take this moment to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a wonderful new year, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2020.
All the best,
Andrew

Ow and p.s. keep your ears out on Eagle Radio 96.4fm next week for something a little extra special 😉

As you may be aware North Hants Tyres support us behind the scenes each year with Wheelsday.
We're very fortunate to have had their support over the years and as a thank you we'd like to share a few great deals they have on offer this coming Friday for Black Friday including 20% off stocked items*. Perfect for those doing some winter work on their rods or simply looking for new boots for their daily. And makes a change from all the 'non-deals' out there this time of year.
Dont panic everyone! I know we don't usually post this type of post but I promise it won't become a regular thing.
All the best,
Andrew
