*** ATTENTION ALL SSR MEMBERS AND PEOPLE ATTENDING WHEELSDAY ***

Due to a burst pipe under the hill on site coupled with the terrible weather we have had leading up to the show, the show field is heavily water logged. We have spent the whole day trying to work the show around the water with all the extra rain and hale that continued to fall but it continues to spread as I write this.
Although all the traders are here and the show will go on in some capacity we ask everyone who is thinking of coming to think carefully. We have only 1/2 the arena as I write this available for parking although this could become worse dependant on the weather tonight.
Obviously we run the show as a charitable event but should you decide not to attend and wish to have a refund for your ticket please email help@wheelsday.net a copy of your PayPal transaction or the details you used to pay with so I can track your payment and we will refund those who request it next week.
Should you still wish to attend then please bare the weather in mind. We will try our hardest to park people sensibly who wish to attend.
There will be no club stand parking. Those that do attend will be parked as they arrive with single entry cars.

With the SSR a day away from site preparation for Fridays show we'd just like to clarify a few points for people.
No pass, no entry for your show car! There are no exceptions. If you don't have your car pass with you, you will be sent to public parking.
Show car gates open at 8.30, public viewing entry opens from 10am.
Adult viewing entry is £8 per adult, OAPs are £5 and children free. If you look good for your age or not please don't be offended if your asked to prove your age.
The show will run rain or shine. Obviously the show is on grass so please avoid spinning your tyres and drive sensibly. We are looking at ways to cut down on mud where we can but please dress appropriately. You will be parked as best as we can to avoid you getting stuck. If your worried about parking if your vehicle is heavy please speak to a Marshall. Heavy vehicles (buses, trucks, etc) park at the top of the hill to avoid becoming stuck.
Entry is the same as previous years via Wellesley Road. This year it is only accessible from the Aldershot end however via the Wellington Roundabout due to the road being closed from the Church Crookham end via Tweseldown Racecourse. There is no entry to show cars from the gate off of the A323 Fleet Road. You must enter via the top gate as previous years.
Many thanks,
SSR

With the lead up to Wheelsday on the last straight being a couple of days away this weekend has been extra busy for us. Not only were we busy sewing up the last bits of the show, but we took time away from our day jobs to donate 300 Easter Eggs for the kiddies with Eagle Radio's Easter Egg appeal; and to end the weekend off we were pleased to donate £1000 to the Prostate Project. Based in Guildford they are helping build the new world leading Urology centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Although its major work is based around mens health it also helps women and children too, and with every penny donated they have a better chance of filling the new centre with even more of the cutting edge technology to help out all of us when in need.
Thanks to everyone who supported us last year (and in previous years) and remember, its because of all of you guys that we can help great causes across our counties.
See you Friday!

Surrey Street Rodders

So this lunchtime the SSR heard Eagle radio were 1000 eggs down on their Easter Egg appeal (which closes this weekend) in which they collect eggs to donate to children in need in the local area, so after a few quick phonecalls we were pleased to jump in and boost their collection by donating 300 eggs to help them on their way! #eagleradio #eastereggappeal ...
